We are pleased to present the deliberations of the Fifth Conference on Accessibility of Health and Social Services in the English language. The event and this Web site were organised under the auspices of the YMCA of Montreal and supported by a grant from the Department of Canadian Heritage. Learn about the key issues that brought together English-speaking communities, regional health and social services boards, public institutions and government representatives in March, 2002, in Montreal, Quebec. The presentations on changes in the health and social services system underscore the challenges English-speaking communities are addressing in developing new service models to respond to needs.
