| "As a Roman Catholic parish, St. Patrick's offers Saturday and Sunday Masses in English. It also runs programmes for First Communion and Confirmation for the English speaking children of the Quebec City area. Some of the activities to which parishioners and others are invited include a bi-yearly Pilgrimage to Grosse-Ile, St. Patrick's Day festivities and banquet, annual Mass at Cemetery. We are also involved with Christmas Hampers at the Holland Centre. In September 2003, we will begin a religious education programme that will be offered to supplement what is being phased out of primary school. This programme will initiate children to the Catholic Church, prayers and Christian doctrine on God, the sacraments and general worship." |
